The conclusion isn’t as crucial since the introduction and the principal points, so I tend to leave it out of my essays, except when I’m writing a thesis or an argumentative essay. Many pupils do include the conclusion in their essays, occasionally even arguing for the main point.
Most importantly, an essay should engage the reader sufficient to warrant a response. Essays will need to answer the question posed at the start of the essay. It should answer the question”why” the reader should read the essay. In other words, it needs to provide a reason why the reader should read the essay.
Essays differ radically from other kinds of academic writing, since it’s usually very private and targets a single perspective, topic, or debate.
